This was my 5th time sailing in Croatia, so I was a bit hesitant about Skipper hotline assistance, since I thought I knew a lot already. But I was wrong! I learned that I'd taken a lot of unnecessary risks before by misreading wind forecasts and not understanding Nevera storms properly. Filip was really patient and taught me a lot in a simple, systematic, easy-to-understand way. And it felt like he took better care of us than we did. I chartered a 39-foot sailing catamaran in Šibenik for a week and was sailing with just my wife and me on board. As I was not familiar with the sailing area, I decided to add the Skipper Hotline service. Even though we were lucky enough to have a very calm week weather-wise, the Skipper Hotline was extremely helpful throughout our trip. We received up-to-date weather information, an excellent route recommendation tailored to our wishes, including beautiful bays, as well as daily updates regarding moorings, buoys and local konobas. It was particularly reassuring to know that we had an experienced back-office team supporting us, continuously checking the weather conditions, including wind and swell, and giving us recommendations for suitable and well-protected overnight moorings. Especially when sailing a 39-foot catamaran as a couple without any additional crew, it gives you a very good and reassuring feeling to know that someone is keeping an eye on the weather and local conditions in the background and is available with practical advice whenever needed. I would definitely book the Skipper Hotline again on future sailing trips. In my opinion, it is a very useful service and I can highly recommend it.

This year it was the third year we did our sailing Trip with the support of Filip from Skipper hotline. To make it clear from the beginning: the service is amazing!!! It starts when we start looking for a boat. When you get the boat and something seems strange? Text Filip. The Bay you wanted to spend the Night in is crowded? Text Filip. Wheather forecast is looking strange? Text Filip. Marina is fully Booked and you forgot reservation? Text Filip. In all this cases (and many more!) Skipper hotline will not step in to perform magic and solve your Problems, but you will have the whole Teams experience and thoughts with you, transported to be easily understandable and therefore boosting your own knowledge of the sea/area/handling of the boat. It will always help you to find the best possible solution on your own - easily and quickly, with amazing inside knowledge of all the croatian coast! I think the longest I was waiting for an answer on WhatsApp was <10 Minutes. To sum up: getting all that Services, without paying for it separately feels too good to be true 😅 but thats what it is. Planning our Trips with Skipper Hotline makes it easier, cheaper and safer for me and my crew. We are already looking forward to next year, when that „hey, we Need a boat!“ message will definitely go out to Filip 😁👌

Thanks to Filip from Skipper Hotline our first bareboat charter in Croatia was a big success! Filip helped us select and book a boat, plan a route based on our input, and adapt it to the weather along the way. During our trip, Filip would always be a step ahead of us, reading the weather and giving us early warnings, and suggesting alternative anchorages when needed. Even though we feel more confident now, we would still expect to have Skipper Hotline with us on our next trip, for that extra level of experience and local knowledge.

We knew Filip from a sailing experience from three years ago, so we knew that the guy knows what he's doing and talking about. This time it was our first time chartering a boat on our own. Skipper Hotline was very useful for our trip. He helped us with important decisions (also on the boat deal), sent us wheather updates and also checked in on us multiple times during the trip. As a local he knows where to get all the supplies (water, electricity, diesel) in the region. We got a lot of great recommendations for which islands, bays, marinas, towns and restaurants to visit ahead of our trip. Basically an itinerary for the whole week tailored to the weather conditions. We followed most of the recommended destinations and everything was great! Especially for first time skippers this service is very recommendable!
